2015: My Summary

It has been a while since I write here.

Time has been really scarce since I joined this new company in late 2014.

It has been a year. wow time do flies!

Just so my future self, here's the summary of what had happened last year:

1. Alhamdullillah. Bought my first car before Raya Puasa. Quiet big for single lady but the main objective is for my family's use. So, MPV it is.

2. Frequent travelling to PJ once a week. I thought I can manage to juggle around, but honestly, at some point, I just feel exhausted and the constant need to sleep. No, I'm not sleep deprived but I think I'm mentally tired. I've realize I'm not good in multitasking. Especially when it involve two different places.

3. Not to mention the cost of travelling to and fro PJ. But currently, it's still bearable.

4. Gain about 10kg %^&*#$%. Sadly, it's not just food, it's my lifestyle. Sometimes work force me to go back late at 9pm or sometimes 10pm. That means late dinner also *sigh*

5. We have twice a year appraisal, and both time, I was not being evaluated for the extra job that I took. For example, participating in NHC and take over reporting task to one of our shareholder. Not that I'm complaining about the workload but rather I feel un-appreciated. I guess, the greener the grass, the more shit I need to face.

6. I realized as I grew "younger", the desire to go out and play is getting less and less. I really appreciate the time spent at home, doing nothing but watching my favorite reality show - The Return of Superman. It's unhealthy (refer no.4 above) but I'm really looking forward to weekend of doing nothing after a long and stressful 5 days work.

7. Except for work, my 4 1/2 days in Melaka (I'll travel to PJ on Friday's evening) is not bad. I don't have to worry about traffic jam :)
U can see people driving at less than 60km/h early in the morning like nobody's business.
There's less pollution, less honking, no toll and the rent is way much cheaper (compared to PJ). And for that, I'm thankful.

 8. I'm officially an aunty to an adorable baby girl :)

9. Some of my friends who got married in 2014 had baby in 2015. It's a nice feeling seeing how your friend grow before your own eyes. It's not something that I can literally describe here. But, I guess being blessed to see your friend progress from a bad cook to someone's wife and latest to someone's mother is very nice.
And deep down I feel proud and of course happy :)

10. At the end of 2015, my sister decided to go her separate way. She'll be working elsewhere, where corruption are lesser compared to our own sweet land.
I certainly cant afford to pay the full portion of my sister's rent and at the same time maintain the rent in Lendu. So, we discussed and we decided there'll be no more 'rumah PJ'. My brother will stay in Seremban, whereas I'll need to find other solution each time I came to PJ.

In 2015, I realized I cant have it all. I gain new thing but at the same time, I have to forgo other things. There's pro and cons in every decision I made. If I know beforehand the side effect, I'll avoid from making such decision. But most of the time, I need to experience it myself.

2016 is said to be tough for everyone, and if the heart cant take it anymore, I'll consider to migrate far away from where I am now. Thou Melaka is nice to live in, there's something missing. It doesn't feel like home....
